Oshi Membership Rewards
Anime fans have always gone above and beyond for the shows they love. Fan art, cosplay, community threads, recommendations that bring in new viewers. Creators see this, and in Japan, oshikatsu (推し活) is recognized as one of the most meaningful forms of support. But there's never been an official way for the production side to say thank you.
As a production committee member, Oshi can change that. Oshi Membership Rewards (OMR) is how we recognize the community members who show up, participate, and help GATE 2 reach new fans.
Everyone earns Merit. Officers ranks (Lieutenant+) earn more. Victory Drops surprise everyone.
3,700+ contributors joined during our soft launch. Here's how the rewards work.
How it works
Oshi rewards members for their community participation through programs to recognize and thank members for their community participation.
You earn recognition by participating: completing quests, engaging with the community, and helping spread the word about GATE 2.
This isn't just about how much you contribute financially. It's about how actively you show your support, your 推し活 (oshikatsu), the act of championing what you love.

Merit Leaderboard (All Members)
Every supporter can earn Merit Points by completing quests and engaging with the community. As production progresses, quests will span multiple effort levels, from quick activities like poll voting and content sharing to high-effort contributions like fan art, cosplay, AMVs, and community event organizing. The more you put in, the more Merit you earn.
Your position on the Merit Leaderboard reflects your participation. Top performers each quarter become eligible for rewards including vouchers, collectibles, and experiences.
This path is open to everyone, regardless of contribution tier. Your rank on the leaderboard depends on your activity, not your contribution amount.

Officer Service Appreciation Program (Lieutenant+)
Members at Lieutenant rank ($250) or higher become Officers and unlock exclusive questlines tied to their tier.
Officer Quests go deeper than standard quests: providing feedback on production materials, testing new platform features, attending review sessions, and contributing insights that shape the campaign.
Officers who complete their questlines become eligible for additional appreciation rewards. These may include enhanced versions of Victory Drop items, priority access to experiences, or monetary equivalent rewards.
Officers are recognized within the community through distinct badges and may be highlighted in community announcements and events.
The higher your rank, the more exclusive your questline and rewards.

Victory Drops
When official artwork, trailers, key visuals, or promotional campaigns achieve significant community milestones, Oshi may release surprise reward drops to the membership base.
These milestones are measured by social reach, fan interaction volume, and overall program enthusiasm.
What Victory Drops can look like:
Rare physical collectibles: original production cels, resin statues, metal prop replicas
Premium digital assets: master-grade animation files, director-signed digital items
Exclusive experiences: studio tours, voice actor dinners, private screenings in Japan
Collaboration items: officially licensed merchandise from partnerships with brands and creators
Victory Drops are surprises, not guarantees. But when they happen, Captain and Admiral members receive first priority and the most exclusive items.
Examples above represent the types of rewards we're planning. Actual Victory Drops may vary as the anime production progresses.
When rewards are distributed
Oshi rewards are determined by Oshi in its sole discretion but guided by the anime's production timeline. Here's what to expect:
Now (quests are live): Start earning Merit Points today. Social follows, referrals, and community quests are available on your campaign dashboard.
As production progresses: New quest types appear tied to trailers, key visuals, and production milestones. Officer Quests unlock for Lieutenant+ members.
Closer to release (2027): Quest activity ramps up significantly. Quarterly Merit rewards begin. Officer appreciation rewards are distributed.
Merit you earn now counts toward your leaderboard position when quarterly rewards begin. Early participants build an advantage that compounds over time.
Key points and getting started
Funded entirely by Oshi. Rewards come from Oshi. GATE 2 production is fully funded and will be completed regardless of campaign participation.
Activity determines rewards. Your rank on the leaderboard comes from participation, not contribution amount. Show up, complete quests, engage with the community.
Rewards are discretionary. OMR is a benefits program, not a contractual promise. All rewards are issued at Oshi's sole discretion.
Start now. Begin earning Merit Points by completing quests on your campaign dashboard. If you're at Lieutenant rank or higher, your Officer Questline will become available as production progresses.
