# Refund Policy

All contributions to the GATE 2 campaign are final. Once you participate, that decision is permanent.

### Why no refunds

When you participate, several things happen immediately: your rank progresses, rewards are allocated to your account, your position in the community is established, and resources are committed to fulfilling your rewards.

Because these systems activate right away, contributions can't be reversed. We recommend reviewing the campaign page and reward details before participating so you feel confident in your decision.

### What if something goes wrong

**Payment error (charged but nothing received):** Contact support immediately. We'll investigate and make it right.

**Changed your mind:** We understand, but the contribution still stands. Take time to think through your decision before participating.

**Rewards not arriving:** That's different from a refund issue. Contact support and we'll track down what's happening with your specific rewards.

**Discovered a regional restriction after contributing:** Some rewards (such as OMR distributions) may have eligibility restrictions by region. See [Regional Availability](/help-and-support/payments-and-transactions.md#regional-availability) on the Payments and Transactions page for details. If you believe you were affected, contact support.

> 📝 **We're here to help** with any issues, but the contribution itself is final once made.

### Disputes and chargebacks

**Contribution disputes:** If a contribution is cancelled or disputed, all corresponding Valor Points, Merit, and rewards will be removed. This means your rank will drop, any digital collectibles tied to that rank will be revoked, and access to rank-exclusive benefits (such as Officer Quests or Discord channels) will be lost.

**Chargebacks:** Handled per card network rules. If a chargeback is successful, Valor Points are revoked and all associated ranks, rewards, and benefits are forfeited.

Disputes and chargebacks affect your full account standing, not just the specific transaction.
