How progression works

[GRAPHIC: 4-Star Progression System - shows stars filling within each rank]

Each rank has four stars to fill before you level up. Your dashboard shows exactly where you stand—no guessing.

Example path:

Start at Seaman ($5) → fill four stars → rank up to Petty Officer ($20) → continue climbing.

Campaign window: Feb 27 – May 27, 2026 (3 months). This is the window to secure all campaign rewards including physical merchandise, credit submissions, cameo opportunities, and Admiral rank.

Campaign-window rewards

Certain rewards are only available during the campaign window (Feb 27 – May 27, 2026):

  • Officer tiers (Lieutenant–Admiral) — These ranks close for purchase after May 27

  • Physical merchandise — Collector's and Premium merch packs

  • Name-in-credits — Submission deadline: May 11

  • Background cameo — Submission deadline: March 16

  • Officer quests — OMR officer questline participation

  • Laurel insignia on Officer ranks — Campaign supporters who reach Lieutenant, Commander, or Captain receive original rank emblems featuring laurels, a permanent mark of early support

These deadlines exist because production schedules require submission information by specific dates, and physical items need to be manufactured and fulfilled.

After the campaign window

Do ranks expire? Never. Your rank stays on your profile as proof you were part of GATE 2's creation.

After May 27:

  • Officer ranks (Lieutenant, Commander, Captain) and Admiral close for purchase

  • Campaign-window rewards (physical merchandise, credit submissions, cameo submissions) are no longer available

  • Your digital collectibles and production access remain yours

  • Seaman through Chief Petty Officer remain open for new supporters

  • The leaderboard becomes a historical record of campaign participation

💡 Campaign supporters who reach Lieutenant, Commander, or Captain during the window receive rank emblems with laurel insignia — permanent recognition of early support. These ranks unlock the full reward experience including physical collectibles, production art, and submission opportunities that aren't available after the window closes.

Looking ahead: Oshi's name comes from oshikatsu (推し活) — the act of supporting what you love. Support takes many forms. We're exploring ways for dedicated fans to earn recognition through community engagement after the campaign. Details will be shared closer to the anime release. Note that campaign-window rewards (physical items, credits, cameos) are tied to production deadlines and cannot be offered later.
