Where Do Your Contributions Go?
When you participate in a campaign on Oshi, your contribution supports four things: your rewards, the creators making the anime, growing the audience and community around it, and the platform that connects it all.
Your Rewards & Access
Most of your contribution goes into creating and delivering what you've unlocked. Digital collectibles tied to the anime's production, physical merchandise like challenge coins and insignia designed for the campaign, and exclusive production content shared from pre-production through premiere.
Every rank has its own fulfillment path. When you participate, resources go toward designing, producing, and delivering your rewards from that point on.
Creator Reward Pool
Directors, animators, character designers, and production staff put years of work into every project. But traditional production models rarely let the people who make the anime share in its long-term success. They get paid once and move on.
Oshi built the Creator Reward Pool to change that. Instead of giving funds to a studio, the CRP rewards individual creators directly.
A portion of every contribution goes to the Creator Reward Pool, which provides ongoing recognition and compensation beyond standard production fees. Every eligible creator receives a minimum bonus from the campaign, with additional distributions tied to streaming and licensing milestones for up to five years after the anime premieres.
Who receives Creator Reward Pool distributions
Individual creators who work on GATE 2 in eligible roles can receive rewards directly once they create a creator account on Oshi and are verified. Eligible roles include:
Director
Assistant Director
Episode Directors
Animation Directors
Key Animators
Lead Script Writer
Character Designer
Line Producers
This isn't a donation to a company. These distributions go to the individuals behind the work.
How it works
Oshi allocates a portion of campaign contributions to the Creator Reward Pool. Every eligible creator receives a minimum bonus. Beyond that, distributions are tied to the anime's performance across streaming and licensing over up to five years.
As the community grows, creators receive more. Your participation supports the artists making GATE 2, not just your own rewards.
This is the first program of its kind in anime.
Growing the Anime & Its Community
Making a great anime is one thing. Getting it in front of people is another. Both matter.
A portion of your contribution goes toward growing GATE 2's audience and strengthening the fan community. That covers marketing campaigns across social media and anime communities, community events and activations, and promotional partnerships that reach audiences who wouldn't find the anime on their own.
This matters because a larger, more engaged community leads to stronger streaming numbers and wider licensing reach, which feeds back into the Creator Reward Pool. The fans who share the anime, participate in events, and bring in new supporters are directly expanding GATE 2's footprint.
Oshi Membership Rewards exist to recognize that kind of participation. But the groundwork starts here, with building a community that actually moves the needle.
Platform Operations
A portion of your contribution supports ongoing platform improvements, new features that make it easier to participate and discover content, and the tools that keep fans and creators connected throughout the campaign.
Beyond Your Contribution: Oshi Membership Rewards
Your contribution unlocks rewards and production access. Being an active member unlocks something on top of that.
Oshi Membership Rewards (OMR) is a separate program, funded entirely by Oshi, that recognizes community members for their participation. Complete quests, climb the Merit Leaderboard, and engage with the community to become eligible for discretionary rewards.
OMR is not paid from your contribution. It's how Oshi thanks the people who help GATE 2 reach new fans.
The bigger picture
Your participation unlocks your own rewards and production access, directly supports the individual creators making the anime, grows the community and audience that determine the anime's long-term success, and strengthens a platform built to give fans a seat at the table.
No other platform does all four. That's what Oshi is building.
