# Where Do Your Contributions Go?

When you participate in a campaign on Oshi, your contribution supports four things: your rewards, the creators making the anime, growing the audience and community around it, and the platform that connects it all.

***

## Your Rewards & Access

Most of your contribution goes toward designing, producing, and delivering the rewards you've unlocked. That includes digital production collectibles tied to the anime's creation, physical merchandise designed for the campaign, and exclusive content shared from pre-production through premiere.

As an example, a Chief Petty Officer might receive a digital background painting from an episode alongside a production note from the art director explaining why that location was designed the way it was. Every rank comes with its own set of rewards, delivered throughout the production.

For full details on rewards and access, see [Rewards by Tier](/gate-2-campaign/reward-details-by-rank-tiers.md).

## Creator Reward Pool

Directors, animators, character designers, and production staff put years of work into every project. Traditional production models share royalties with some key roles like original authors and scriptwriters, but most of the people who bring an anime to life (animators, episode directors, character designers) are paid once and move on.

Our goal is for the Creator Reward Pool to extend ongoing compensation to more of the individuals who actually make the anime.

### Who receives Creator Reward Pool distributions

Individual creators who work on GATE 2 in eligible roles can receive distributions directly once they are verified through Oshi. Roles we're planning to include:

* Director
* Assistant Director
* Episode Directors
* Animation Directors
* Key Animators
* Lead Script Writer
* Character Designer
* Line Producers

This isn't a donation to a company. These distributions go to the individuals behind the work.

### How it works

Oshi allocates a portion of campaign contributions to the Creator Reward Pool. Every eligible creator receives a minimum bonus from the campaign. Beyond that, distributions are tied to streaming and licensing milestones for up to five years after the anime premieres.

As the anime's success grows, creators receive more. Your participation supports the artists making GATE 2, not just your own rewards.

## Growing the Anime & Its Community

Making a great anime is one thing. Getting it in front of people is another. Both matter.

A portion of your contribution goes toward growing GATE 2's audience and strengthening the fan community through marketing campaigns, community events and activations, and promotional partnerships that bring in audiences who wouldn't find the anime on their own. It also supports ongoing platform development: new features, better tools for participation, and the infrastructure that keeps fans and creators connected throughout the campaign.

This matters because a larger, more engaged community leads to stronger streaming and wider licensing reach, which feeds directly back into the Creator Reward Pool. The fans who share the anime, participate in events, and bring in new supporters are expanding what GATE 2 can become.
