Valor & Merit Points
How Oshi's point systems work: Valor points track contributions and determine rank. Merit points reward engagement activities.
Two point systems: Valor tracks contributions, Merit rewards community engagement.

Key difference: Valor is earned through money ($1 = 100 Valor). Merit is earned through activities. They don't convert into each other.
Valor Points
Valor measures your campaign contributions and determines your rank.
Once you contribute and receive Valor Points, they cannot be sold, refunded, or converted back to cash. Valor is a one-way entry into the campaign.

Merit Points
Merit recognizes community participation beyond financial contribution. You earn Merit by completing quests, referring new supporters, and engaging with the community.
Launch quests include:
Following official accounts on X (@oshikatsu_co, @gate_anime, @gate_animeEN)
Joining the Oshi Discord
Referring new supporters (Merit varies by the referred supporter's rank)
Sending a personal note to the production team after contributing
Sharing official content to social media
More quest types are planned during production, including creative challenges, community events, and fan art submissions.
💡 Merit isn't purchasable. You earn it through participation and engagement.
Your Merit position determines your placement on the Merit Leaderboard. Active participants become eligible for discretionary rewards through Oshi Membership Rewards, which can include exclusive digital collectibles, early access to production drops, and community recognition.

Leaderboards
Both Valor and Merit have their own leaderboards visible on your campaign dashboard.
The Valor Leaderboard ranks supporters by total Valor Points. If two supporters have the same Valor, the person who contributed first ranks higher.
The Merit Leaderboard ranks supporters by total Merit Points earned through quests and engagement. Ties are also broken by first-come, first-served.
The top 3 on each leaderboard receive gold, silver, and bronze medal designations, visible on your profile and across the community. Your leaderboard positions update in real time as you earn points.
For full details on how the leader board works, see Leaderboard:
Fine print
Valor and Merit Points are honorific and don't hold monetary value. They can't be transferred, exchanged, or cashed out. Point calculations may be adjusted over time as the platform evolves.
